Operations and maintenance of the CalPERS network including firewall rules, network devices (wired and wireless), load balancers, and network management tools. Assist with Network Architecture, Engineering, Administration, or Data Center tasks as needed. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

All experience and education relating to the Minimum Qualifications (MQs) listed on the Classification Specification should be included in your application package to clearly demonstrate how you meet the MQs. If you are using education to meet MQs, include transcripts. If you have a degree from outside the United States, submit an evaluation of this degree for US equivalency. Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. The SOQ must be titled Statement of Qualifications, respond to the questions provided, and not exceed two pages in Calibri 11 point font. It must be typed and list all relevant experience, education, and training, including places of employment, dates, and duties performed. Please address in your SOQ: your education or experience with networking technologies; experience presenting ideas effectively; experience with firewall rules and network performance/monitoring.
