Overview
Scope of Work: Were looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst with 35+ years of experience in construction operations, accounting, or data analysis. This role reports directly to the VP of Business Intelligence and is ideal for someone who brings a strong foundation of experience and can work independently with confidence. Youll play a key role in analyzing cost reports, visualizing data in Tableau, and helping the business make smarter, faster decisions. Analyze construction cost reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Build and maintain dashboards in Tableau (Power BI experience is okaywell train you). Translate complex data into actionable insights for project and executive teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver data solutions. Work independently to explore data, solve problems, and improve reporting processes. Communicate findings clearly and confidentlyeven when challenged. 35+ years of relevant experience in construction accounting, project engineering, or data analysis. Strong Excel skills; familiarity with earned revenue and cost reporting. Self-motivated, curious, and comfortable working with minimal direction. Ability to interpret data and defend your analysis with confidence. Bonus points for experience with SQL, Tableau, or construction data systems. Nice to Have
SQL or database querying experience. Prior experience in a multi-location construction environment. Understanding data governance and secure data practices. Education
Degree preferred if no construction experience. Candidates with non-traditional career paths are encouraged to apply, especially those who have gained deep construction knowledge through hands-on experience and understand the financial side of the business. Location
