Position Title ResNet Technology Consultant Residence Life Computer Support Student Status Work Study Optional You are not required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position. Work Location Springfield Campus Department Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services Hiring Range $13.75/hour Sponsorship Information Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Department/Employer Operating Hours Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekly Hours Flexible up to 20 hours per week Description of Primary Duties

Assisting students with technology issues Providing responses to technology related inquiries via email and ticketing systems Answering phone calls in the ResNet Computer Support Office Diagnosing and repairing student computers, tablets, phones, gaming systems, etc. Scheduling work orders and visiting student rooms to investigate and resolve connectivity problems Undertaking projects that add value to ResNet Required Qualifications

Must have working knowledge of computer operation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting practices Experience with repairs on computers, mobile devices, gaming consoles preferred Must be able to walk to work orders, reach behind or under desks, and lift up to 50 pounds Good communication and ability to work on a team is required Previous customer service experience is preferred Must meet Student Employee Handbook requirements Required Certifications
