Overview

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking a Software Developer to join our team in the United States. This role is remote with preference for candidates located in Roanoke, VA. Responsibilities

Work under moderate supervision to complete assigned tasks. Write and implement efficient, maintainable, and reusable code. Collaborate with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues and perform unit testing. Recommend and implement changes or enhancements to improve the quality of products and internal procedures. Demonstrate basic knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development field. Education / Qualifications

0-2 years of professional experience in software development. Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of at least one object-oriented (OO) programming language (e.g., .NET, Java, etc.). Basic understanding of web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Preference will be given to candidates located in the Roanoke, VA area. Willingness To Learn

Frontend frameworks like Vue and Vuetify. Backend frameworks and technologies such as .NET. REST APIs and their implementation. Databases (relational and/or non-relational). Kubernetes and containerization technologies. About Hexagon
