Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking a
Senior Software Developer
to join our team in the United States. Responsibilities
Work under limited supervision to design, develop, and maintain software systems and subsystems. Acquire specific expertise in software design and development approaches and best practices. Recommend and implement changes or enhancements to improve the quality of products and internal procedures. Write and implement efficient, maintainable, and reusable code. Collaborate with team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues and perform unit testing. Engage with cross-functional teams to develop applications that meet customer needs. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development field. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred). SaaS/Web and on-premises development experience. Proficiency in .NET and REST API development. Strong knowledge of relational databases. Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies. Proven ability to design software systems and subsystems. Background in software product development. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Roanoke, VA area. Knowledge / Learning
Frontend frameworks like Vue and Vuetify. Graph databases. 2D/3D visualization libraries. Hexagon will not sponsor applicants for a work visa for this position. About Hexagon
