Responsibilities

Conduct adaptive reading workshops to build foundational skills in phonics, comprehension, and fluency. Create personalized motivational sessions that enhance engagement through gamified literacy achievements. Evaluate student progress data to refine instruction and generate actionable insights. Collaborate with the technology team to assess and improve AI literacy tools based on classroom outcomes. Develop scalable content that tailors reading pathways for diverse learners.

What you wont be doing

Sticking to a rigid, scripted curriculum that overlooks student needs or data. Spending excessive time on traditional lesson planning, grading, or administrative tasks. Operating in overcrowded classrooms with limited resources. Focusing on behavior management instead of reading instruction. Teaching in isolation without contributing to program or product development.

Reading Program Coordinator Responsibilities

Create a scalable, AI-enhanced reading program that enables early elementary students to reach grade-level proficiency and foster a lifelong love of reading. Basic Requirements

Bachelors degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent). Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students. Expertise in assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre-written curricula. Proficiency with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsiveness to student behaviors within them. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Tampa, FL; Austin, TX or Plano, TX.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The role is on a contractor basis with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
