This resource backfill is critical to support GHR applications. The role provides Application Production Support for client Global HR Applications, supporting end users and responding to incidents and problems. The focus is on leading triage activities for all business-impacting incidents, ensuring compliance with incident and problem management policies and procedures. The role acts as a key focal point for the customer, client, and associate experience and aims to restore impacts regardless of root cause location. Responsibilities
Provide leadership as needed. Ensure all impacts are accurately recorded and documented in the system of record; verify documents and wikis are updated and accessible during triage; support on-call responsibilities for incidents; document application flows, outage impacts, customer experience, and support contacts. Troubleshoot, analyze, research, and resolve issues using advanced queries and programming skills; conduct root-cause analysis; identify mitigations and risks; perform real-time restoration; triage issues impacting technical services (application/infrastructure) for bank customers and partners; keep partners informed of progress. Qualifications
Assess initial severity, gather impacts, engage necessary supporting teams, and escalate to ensure timely restoration. Identify business impact, interpret monitors, dashboards, and logs; write queries to calculate and communicate impacts to leadership in partnership with senior team members or specialists within Technology Services. Promote and enforce production governance during triage; identify production failure scenarios, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement; determine appropriate actions and escalate as needed. Fulfills research requests, ad hoc reports, and offline incidents as directed by senior team members or Technology/Production Services teams. Provides frontline IT production support to end users related to Incident/Problem Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness, Production Monitoring and Governance. Works closely with Technology Infrastructure and Development Teams on integrated/independent releases, software/hardware upgrades, server upgrades, etc. Strong production support background with exposure to Level II production support tasks. Experience with Oracle/PLSQL, Unix/Linux, Autosys, JIL script, and basic Windows networking.
