Leidos has a Backend Software Developer opportunity in the National Security Sector's (NSS) Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). The team supports Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations, Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence, and Cryptographic Key Management. Location: Laurel, MD. This role is in a fast-paced DevOps environment focused on mission-driven prototype development and collaboration.

Develop solutions in support of Defensive Cybersecurity Operations, including prototype development and answering new questions in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Serve as the development team's primary point of contact for individual cybersecurity missions, with primary support for Blue Team missions and potential support for Red, Hunt, and JCMA missions. Mentor other developers and continuously learn techniques and tools from teammates. Identify areas for process improvement and suggest solutions; may provide secondary support to the Data Science team. Technical Proficiency
Full stack development with a focus on backend services; Java with Python conversion; Splunk; Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform); Containerization (Rancher, Kubernetes, Docker); Systems integration; Linux (CentOS, Red Hat); GitLab; Jira. Qualifications
Bachelors degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years; an associate degree with 10+ years or high school diploma/GED with 12+ years may be considered for highly relevant experience. Desirable skills: RESTful interfaces, Java scripting, Bash scripting, Jenkins, Rancher/Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow, Data Science/Machine Learning. Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to be considered for this role. Additional Information
