This position designs, develops, and deploys transformative solutions across the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems, manages the full project lifecycle to deliver quality solutions for clients, practice teams, and administrative groups, and shapes application architecture for custom development and integration across systems. Responsibilities
Defines, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and needs related to technology solutions for end users, departments, and practice groups. Gathers requirements and guides end users to mutually beneficial solutions for the firm and clients. Recommend modifications, enhancements, replacements, and improvements to the firm's web and portal applications; provide primary maintenance, upgrades, and development. Act as technical lead for troubleshooting related to the firm's web and portal applications and related integrated applications. Collaborate with staff to develop and maintain standard practices and metrics for site design, programming, and business systems analysis. Share knowledge with colleagues and ensure appropriate knowledge transfer for coverage. Provide quality assurance, testing, and documentation for web and portal applications. Perform basic project management activities including scoping, task scheduling, resource recommendations, and skill alignment. Engage with vendors to discuss issues and stay current with developments in software technology. Coordinate with Systems and Applications personnel on deployment issues; respond to user incidents routed by Help Desk Analysts and assist after hours as needed. Other duties as coordinated or assigned by senior management. Technical Skill Requirements
SharePoint & Microsoft 365: Build enterprise-level intranet and collaboration solutions on SharePoint Online using out-of-the-box features and custom code via the SharePoint Framework (SPFx). Develop Office 365 applications and solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, SharePoint Online). Power Platform & Node.js: Create end-to-end workflows and integrations using Power Automate, Nintex, K2, or similar; incorporate Node.js services as needed. Migration & Modernization: Lead data migration initiatives from legacy systems to SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime. Modern Web Development: Develop UI components with React, Redux, and JavaScript/TypeScript; integrate with SharePoint APIs and third-party services. Use tools such as ShareGate or Microsoft SharePoint Migration Tool for content/site migrations. Azure Services: Architect and implement Azure services (Azure Web Apps, Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, AI Builder) to extend SharePoint and Power Platform solutions. NET Core & ASP.NET: Develop custom solutions and APIs with .NET Core (C#), Blazor, and ASP.NET for scalable applications. Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional services environment. At least 3 years in web development (JavaScript, front-end frameworks, HTML5, CSS) and .NET or equivalent for cloud-based apps. Strong understanding of Office 365-connected solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint Online). Experience building web parts, apps, page layouts, and content types using the O365 API and SPFx. Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, Blazor, ASP.NET, Node.js, SPFx, React, and PowerShell; experience with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps, Git, or similar tools. Relational database development and SQL experience; familiarity with IDEs (Visual Studio, VS Code) and source control tools. Experience with Azure resources (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL DB). Understanding of SDLC using Microsoft technologies; knowledge of Active Directory, AD security, TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and SMTP. Legal practice/process experience is a plus; strong PowerShell expertise. Ability to work independently on complex enterprise applications and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
