Cloud Solution Architect Cloud & AI Data Platform

with deep knowledge in data platforms and analytics to support customers in building secure, scalable, and AI-ready solutions on Microsoft Azure. In this customer-facing role, youll guide organizations through their data modernization and AI journeysleading architectural design sessions, proof-of-concept initiatives, and production deployments for mission-critical workloads. Your focus will be on ensuring performance, resiliency, and security across solutions that drive measurable business value. As a key member of the Cloud & AI Data Platform team, youll use established repeatable IP and execution frameworks to deliver high-quality outcomes and accelerate solution adoption. Youll work with cutting-edge technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Cosmos DB, and Purview, helping unlock the full value of their data and AI investments. Operates according to required operational excellence and proven practice standards throughout all sales stages/activities/tools with minimal guidance from more experienced peers. Collaborates across Microsoft and customer/partner teams to achieve objectives and increase customer satisfaction. Manages risk, applies governance principles, and ensures alignment with business priorities and goals. Identifies, escalates, and mitigates blockers to accelerate solution deployment, value realization, and usage with minimal guidance. Continues to develop business, technical, industry, and enterprise knowledge and applies it to architecture or support projects. Identifies opportunities for Consumption, Usage & Unified expansion, parks opportunities based on business value and Microsoft's value proposition, and helps map customer requirements to suitable architectures/solutions. Builds trust with customers/partners and contributes to capturing insights to shape outcomes. Delivers solutions following company methodologies (e.g., value-based deliverables, training, technical validation) with minimal guidance, enabling operational readiness and long-term adoption. Guides customers toward well-architected, secure, resilient, AI-enabled, cost- and performance-optimized solutions to drive retention and expansion. Customer Centricity

Focuses on customer/partner experience through efficient delivery and a seamless experience. Develops an understanding of customer goals and defines conditions of success. Addresses dissatisfaction and contributes to strategies to improve value realization and transformation. Translates customer problems into industry solutions aligned with Microsoft strategy, explaining outcomes and ROI goals (e.g., via proof of concept or MVP). Helps customers adopt cross-solution area strategies and builds relationships with technical decision makers. Acts as the voice of the customer, sharing insights with Engineering teams and internal communities to influence product roadmaps and initiatives. Identifies patterns to drive strategic improvements and may present business cases to program managers. Partner Specialization

Gains insight into market opportunities and guides partners in offerings, practices, products, and solutions. Delivers technical enablement and focuses on opportunities aligned with revenue goals. Supports partner and sales teams to clarify opportunities through proof of concept and pre-sales support, driving growth of solution utilization pipelines. Technical Leadership

Uses market insights to drive upskilling and readiness. Demonstrates technical readiness and mentors others. Participates in virtual teams and external events to elevate Microsoft solutions and shares learnings across teams. Identifies gaps in delivery, communicates them to stakeholders, and suggests changes to products, IP, technologies, or processes to enable scale. Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 2+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting OR equivalent experience Other Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting OR Masters Degree in same fields OR equivalent experience 6+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting 4+ years in a customer-facing role 4+ years on technical projects Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google) or security certifications Base pay ranges vary by location.
