Project Controls Analyst
to support its
Wildfire System Hardening Program . This role is critical in managing financial tracking, identifying budget discrepancies, and ensuring accurate forecasting for field operations. Youll work closely with construction management teams to validate invoices, reconcile vendor data, and maintain financial integrity across multiple projects. Responsibilities
Support full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout, emphasizing milestone tracking and financial accuracy. Analyze data trends to improve forecasting and identify cost-saving opportunities. Validate invoices by reconciling vendor feedback with internal work authorizations. Monitor and audit expenditures to ensure alignment with billed costs. Implement configuration control for contracts and project documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support planning, execution, and process improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with financial and operational standards. Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role. Strong understanding of project lifecycle and milestone importance. Experience with accruals, cost booking, and vendor cost tracking. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). Ability to identify discrepancies and drive cost accuracy. Positive attitude with a proactive, go-getter mindset. Preferred Qualifications
Background in construction or utility industries. Experience with SAP for budgeting and reporting. Familiarity with Primavera P6 for project scheduling. Seniority level
