Overview
CV Resources is working with a well-established multi-billion dollar construction firm to recruit a Contracts Specialist on a temporary to hire basis. This is a full-time onsite role This is a key role that helps ensure every agreement is airtight, compliant, and aligned with business goals. Responsibilities
Partner with project managers, procurement teams, and executives to support the full lifecycle of construction-related contractsfrom drafting and negotiation to final execution. Review and revise general contractor agreements, subcontracts, change orders, supplier / vendor agreements, and service contracts, with a sharp eye for compliance, risk exposure, and liability. Maintain and update a library of construction-specific contract templates to reflect current legal standards and company policies. Assist in resolving contract disputes or ambiguities by interpreting terms and coordinating with the Legal Department as needed. Provide day-to-day legal and administrative support to ensure all construction documents meet internal standards and industry regulations. Qualifications
Experienced with construction contract language, including AIA and custom agreements. Skilled at reviewing legal documents and identifying areas of concern before they become problems. Strong communicator who can translate legal jargon into practical guidance for project teams. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple active construction sites.
