Overview
ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Process Solutions team in Downers Grove, IL. Our Process Solutions team delivers turnkey advanced manufacturing projects nationwide. Project Managers have full responsibility for project performance, customer satisfaction, and taking projects from design to completion with growth potential. Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of a project from preconstruction through closeout. Work with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budgets. Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, discuss cost-saving opportunities, provide value engineering ideas, and negotiate contracts and fees. Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for all trades and vendors. Identify opportunities to procure materials or specialty equipment directly to fit the budget or schedule. Work with the Project Superintendent to develop and review subcontractor scopes, project schedules, and site logistics plans. Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve constructability, sequencing, and manpower issues. Lead on-site weekly/bi-weekly meetings to review progress and address challenges with clients. Track and manage project performance versus budget; prepare owner pay applications, cost status and progress billing reports. Ensure construction processes are performed safely and effectively while maintaining quality and client satisfaction. Qualifications
BS in Engineering or related field. 5-7 years of construction management and/or engineering design experience. Experience leading design/build industrial, cold storage, food & beverage, advanced manufacturing, or data center projects preferred. Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
