Our direct client is seeking an Informatica Cloud Data Engineer for a full-time, direct-hire position. This role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days per week onsite at the Cypress, CA (90630) office. Base pay and benefits
Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $132,000.00/yr Salary $120k - $132k Plus up to 10% annual bonus Merit increase eligibility, 401K matching, and a comprehensive benefits package

The Data Engineer II will be an integral member of the IT Data Integration team and will be expected to clean, prepare, and optimize data for consumption. The Data Engineer II will work with the team to create high-end data and analytics-driven ETL solutions leveraging Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Big Data tools and technologies. The Data Engineer II will collect and curate data from disparate sources to perform data interrogation, develop analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics. Proven ability in ETL/ELT workflows and SQL development Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with real-time data streaming tools (e.g., Kafka, Spark) a plus Strong background in building and maintaining data pipelines that enable reporting/analytics Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for working across teams
Key activities include communicating with stakeholders, researching business needs, and preparing data for analysis. This role may involve business and technical requirements gathering and documentation (BRD, PRD), data workflow design, and presentations. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience 4+ years of relevant experience in data analysis techniques and tools Advanced experience in Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Experience with Python, R, etc. Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with AWS GLUE ETL and AWS Analytics Services (Lambda, Step Functions, EMR, Athena) preferred Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Analytical skills with statistical/data science foundations Experience with data quality, wrangling, cleansing, and standardization Experience with on-premise and cloud infrastructure Project management and organizational skills; experience with GitHub, Subversion, Azure DevOps a plus Proven track record of delivering analytic solutions using data-driven approaches

Technical Design
- Create and document technical designs for medium to high complexity solutions, including external system integrations; define work processes and standards; design for performance and scalability; model data and prepare it for consumption. Data Modeling
- Write, test, debug, and maintain data workflows; analyze data for patterns; support data integration and analytics initiatives; develop data science models to automate processes and scale pipelines. Requirements elicitation and management to align with business needs; accurate project effort estimates; adherence to RTS standards. Develop and enhance data assets by combining data from multiple sources and applying advanced data and statistical techniques.
