Long-Term Contract Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Network Engineer
to design, implement, manage, and optimize a large-scale, complex enterprise network infrastructure spanning over 350 locations. This role involves hands-on engineering across WAN, LAN, cloud, and security domains, with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
Architect and deploy scalable, secure enterprise networks. Design and maintain MPLS, DIA, P2P circuits, AWS Direct Connect, and Azure ExpressRoute. Engineer IPSec VPN tunnels and advanced routing policies (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF). Administer Cisco routers (ISR, ASR), switches (Catalyst, Nexus), and wireless solutions (WLCs, APs). Manage Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and Cisco ISE for NAC and authentication. Monitor network performance using SNMP-based tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, ThousandEyes). Utilize ExtraHop and DPI tools for traffic visibility and anomaly detection. Troubleshoot network issues across WAN, LAN, and cloud interconnects. Enforce AAA, TACACS+, RADIUS, and 802.1X policies. Develop firewall policies, NAT configurations, and ACLs. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and other frameworks. Collaborate with SOC teams to mitigate threats and secure network boundaries. Automate network tasks using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent. Perform capacity planning and optimize QoS and WAN acceleration. Design hybrid cloud network architectures in AWS and Azure. Maintain network documentation and provide mentorship to junior engineers. Required Qualifications
810 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and architecture. Deep knowledge of routing protocols, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and route maps. Experience with Cisco networking hardware and wireless solutions. Proficiency in SNMP-based monitoring and ExtraHop DPI tools. Experience with Infoblox and Cisco ISE. Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform). Ability to analyze packet captures, NetFlow, SNMP logs, and telemetry. Preferred Certifications
Cisco CCNP / CCIE (Enterprise, Security, or Service Provider) AWS Advanced Networking Specialty ExtraHop Certified Professional (ECP) Infoblox Core DDI Certification Seniority level
