Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code to improve existing systems Debugging and troubleshooting/testing software issues to ensure smooth functionality Developing database protocols and analyzing database systems Monitor database performance and optimize to ensure optimal efficiency and availability Ability to write and optimize Oracle SQL queries Familiarity with the NSA accreditation process Design and execute database structures, tables, and indexes to meet performance requirements Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance Requiring experience with classified databases and knowledge of DoD security regulations Ability to do .NET development, SQL, and basic Oracle administration Understanding and ability to implement code fundamentals Knowledge of DoD security regulations, policy and procedures Good communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) Desired
Prior Database Administration experience (2-4 years) Prior software testing experience (2- years) Strong knowledge and experience with database management systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) Relevant certification such as IBM Certified Database Administrator DB2, Microsoft SQL Server database certification, Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL Database Administrator, or industry equivalent What You Can Expect
