Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) | $60/hr W2 | Client: Bank of America | Exp: 10+ yrs A face-to-face final round interview is required. Need local candidates. Visa: No GC. Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize large-scale data assets supporting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and surveillance systems. Perform hands-on development using Teradata, SQL/BTEQ, and ETL tools like Informatica. Engage in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within an Agile/Scrum framework. Collaborate with business stakeholders to discover requirements and deliver effective data solutions. Work with a modern tech stack including Hadoop (Hive, Impala, PySpark), Autosys, and CI/CD tools.

Proven expertise in Teradata 16.x, SQL/BTEQ scripting, and TPT. Strong experience with ETL tools, specifically Informatica. Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting. Solid understanding of SQL performance tuning and optimization.
Highly Desired Skills
Experience with big data technologies: Cloudera CDP, Hadoop, Hive, Impala, PySpark, or Scala. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Ansible) and Agile tools like Jira. Knowledge of job scheduling tools like Autosys.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. A proactive "can-do" attitude with the ability to handle design, development, and coordination in a distributed environment. Experience in the financial services domain, particularly with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or financial crimes systems, is a significant plus.
