The Learning Specialist plays a crucial role in the professional development of individuals within the business. Learning Specialists craft and deliver training programs to improve performance and skills of their trainees. The Learning Specialist works with the Learning Lead and Learning Manager to organize, plan, create and execute training projects, including writing manuals, creating training content with Google Slides or Google Docs, and delivering training sessions for various departments in individual or classroom settings. The role requires adapting approach to different learning styles and collaborating with the leadership team to ensure consistent content delivery. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation abilities are essential. This role reports to the Learning Manager and is based onsite at our Santa Ana, CA office headquarters. Travel may be required as the company grows. What You’ll Do

Assist training in all key areas of the business, including Operations and other areas that may have training needs. Deliver training to new workers, agency temps, and existing employees across the organization. Support onboarding by conducting Collectors Orientation for all new employees and agency temps. Focus on building annual programs and teaching plans for areas such as safety and compliance for all employees and agency temps. The Learning Department promotes a Safety Culture and informs the workforce on safety topics. Communicate and collaborate with Collectors personnel from all departments, divisions and leadership levels. Identify, enhance, facilitate and conduct training needs with guidance from Learning Leadership. Improve policies, procedures and processes through Collectors Values, especially in Seeking Feedback Early and Often to recommend and implement optimal solutions. Who You Are

B.S. or B.A. preferred; 1 or 2 years of experience in a training environment preferred. Fluent in English with the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and group settings to all levels of the organization. Spanish and/or Japanese fluency, and/or experience with formal writing or translating in Spanish/Japanese is a plus. Reliable attendance and flexibility to alter or change shifts. Strong computer skills (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Slides, etc.). Proven work experience training others. Experience designing training events in a corporate setting, including technical writing skills (manuals). Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.). Strong planning, problem-solving, and project management skills; detail-oriented and well organized. Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and time management. Physical Requirements

Sitting for long periods in a fast-paced office environment. Occasional bending, twisting, and walking; ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75+ pounds with assistance or equipment. Computer use including typing and mouse work for extended periods. Exposure to machinery noise in some environments; hearing alarms and instructions. General warehouse environment considerations including temperature fluctuations. Hourly Rate

The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $23. Actual compensation varies based on location, job level, prior experience and skill set. Benefits
