Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21–$26/hour (based on experience)
About the Role:
LHH is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established organization in Long Beach. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who recently completed HR coursework or has 1–2 years of HR experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scan and digitize paper HR files into our electronic filing system.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist walk-in employees and visitors.
- Perform general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document organization.
- Support the HR team with basic tasks and learn the Leave of Absence (LOA) process over time.
Ideal Candidate:
- Recently completed a degree or certification in Human Resources or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role preferred.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks such as scanning and filing.
- Friendly, professional, and able to provide excellent front-desk support.
- Eager to learn and grow within the HR field.
