About the Role

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Assistant to join our client's team in Costa Mesa. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of HR experience, particularly in workers’ compensation and benefits administration, who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, answering questions and guiding them through the process.
  • Manage and process workers’ compensation claims, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Handle HR paperwork related to onboarding, benefits, and compliance.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant.
  • Support the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks and special projects.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of HR experience, with a focus on benefits administration and workers’ compensation.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (preferred).
