Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide well-rounded support across the employee lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and employees, contributing to a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with management to drive engagement and maintain a supportive work environment.
  • Support recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and coordinating offers.
  • Facilitate onboarding activities and lead new hire orientation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, leaves of absence, and accommodations.
  • Administer FMLA/LOA programs and manage unemployment claims and hearings.
  • Provide HRIS reporting and ensure data integrity.
  • Coordinate offboarding processes and exit documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Contribute to EEO and Affirmative Action reporting.
  • Handle special projects and generate reports for leadership as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (PHR certification a plus).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of HR experience in a generalist capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and leave administration (FMLA/LOA required).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
