The Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role in supporting HR operations across the organization, with a focus on employee relations, talent support, compliance, and day-to-day HR administration. This position serves as a key resource for retail store teams, distribution centers, and corporate departments, ensuring consistent HR practices and a positive employee experience.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, people-focused HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Support
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns regarding policies, benefits, timekeeping, and workplace issues.
  • Support the resolution of employee relations matters in a fair, consistent, and legally compliant manner.
  • Partner with managers and supervisors to ensure positive and productive work environments.
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation for corporate employees, ensuring a seamless experience and strong cultural integration.
HR Administration & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS (e.g., Workday, ICIMS, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies.
  • Support internal audits and reporting for HR-related metrics.
Training & Development
  • Assist with employee training programs, including compliance training and leadership development initiatives.
  • Monitor completion of mandatory training requirements and track progress.
Performance & Engagement
  • Assist in administering performance review processes and employee feedback programs.
  • Participate in engagement initiatives to improve retention and morale, particularly in retail and field locations.
Benefits & Leave Administration
  • Provide support for employee benefits, open enrollment, and leave of absence programs.
  • Educate employees on available resources and escalate complex cases to the appropriate HR or benefits team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of HR experience; experience in retail or multi-site operations strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g., Workday)
