Key Responsibilities:

The IT Specialist plays an important role keeping our internal customers running smoothly. This role works onsite at our Toledo Ohio HQ along with travel to other locations throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.

What you will do:
  • Document, train and support end users on the use of various software packages and operating systems
  • Manage network cabling and able to run new cables as needed
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the helpdesk
  • Setup and maintain devices including laptops, phones, tablets, etc.
  • Evaluate technology used to ensure functionality and efficiency and make recommendations for improvements
  • Provide assistance to end-users on operation of any IT systems
  • Install, test and configure new workstations, equipment and software
  • Perform timely hardware and software upgrades as required
  • Travel to other STO locations to support end-users and resolve issues
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
Position Requirements

What you need to know and have:
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suites
  • Strong knowledge of network security, troubleshooting, and applications
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and installing and configuring desktop software
  • At least three years experience supporting help desk and offsite locations in a corporate environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of 3 years IT support/Help Desk experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant field preferred
  • Apple and Android mobile device functionality
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Hardware maintenance
  • Travel of 25-30% is required between our 18 locations in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana
When you will work:
  • Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
