Overview Albin Engineering Services, Inc. is seeking an Analog Engineer for one of our premier clients in the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
Responsible for board bring-up
Qualifications
BS in Engineering or similar field
10+ years of experience
Highly experienced in board bring-ups
Competency in circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting of analog circuits (op-amps, MOSFETs, ADCs and DACs)
Proficient at hardware verification
Excellent understanding of power budget characterizations and measurements for portable and wearable systems from milliamps to microamps
Advanced knowledge level on high-speed clocking and transceivers
Ability to travel to customer sites within the Bay Area as needed
Preferred Skills
Can lead projects through development
Prior experience designing biosignal data acquisition hardware
Prior experience designing IEC 60601-1 compliant hardware
Excellent understanding of wireless transceivers and implementations
Knowledge of RF circuits and measurement techniques
Proficient at link budget calculations for RF
Prior experience with EMC testing
