Position Overview: The Senior Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in the storage, handling, and movement of high-value aerospace hardware, materials, and components. This position ensures that inventory, materials, and tooling are received, inspected, stored, and issued in compliance with aerospace quality and safety standards. The Senior Warehouse Associate also supports production lines, test facilities, and engineering teams by maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper packaging and ESD/FOD control, and mentoring junior warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and process incoming aerospace materials, hardware, and components in accordance with company procedures and industry standards. Ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, stored, and tracked within the ERP or inventory management system. Pick, kit, and issue components for production, integration, and test activities in support of satellite, propulsion, and subsystem manufacturing. Safely package and prepare aerospace hardware for internal transport or external shipment, following NASA/ESA/DoD packaging standards as applicable. Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and reporting, ensuring traceability of all controlled items. Maintain compliance with cleanroom, ESD, and FOD control requirements when handling sensitive space hardware. Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, etc.) to move heavy or oversized components safely. Support audits and inspections by customers, regulatory bodies, or quality assurance teams. Mentor and train junior warehouse associates in proper handling, storage, and documentation practices. Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in warehouse operations. Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred. 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, ERP/MRP systems, and aerospace documentation requirements. Certification in forklift and material handling equipment operations. Familiarity with cleanroom procedures, ESD protection, and FOD prevention in aerospace environments. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift and handle materials safely, including oversized aerospace hardware. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams. Must be a U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident) due to ITAR/EAR export control requirements. Preferred Skills:

Experience with aerospace packaging standards (MIL-STD-2073, NASA-STD-8739). Previous experience supporting satellite, propulsion, or space hardware production. Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma training. ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
