Warehouse Worker Needed
Job Description -
We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team on an open-ended contract.
This role involves operating within the shipping/receiving department and may transition into a driving position in the future.
The specialist will utilize computers for creating shipping labels and tracking parts, and will also operate a forklift.
Unload materials, parts, supplies, tools, and equipment from carriers and company vehicles, routing items to their proper destinations within the plant.
Segregate discrepant items or shipments and process them according to standard procedures.
Identify and label materials, parts, tools, and items using marking, tagging, and/or coding systems.
Operate forklifts and company trucks up to 1 ½ tons for local and Los Angeles area pick-ups and deliveries.
Count, package, and protect parts and tooling for shipment, and construct pallets and crates for shipping.
Qualifications Required -
Proficiency in forklift operation.
Experience in shipping and receiving, with a minimum of two (2) years preferred in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to count accurately.
Ability to safely operate all company vehicles.
Capability to work collaboratively and follow instructions from the Shop Supervisor.
Ability to maintain computer logs and records.

Shift
- 2nd Shift (will train on 1st shift for 6-10 weeks)
Pay Rate
- $20 - 22/HR (depending on experience)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
