$25.79/hr + $2/hr shift differential Shift:

5:45pm-6:15am 12-hour continental schedule, 3 days one week, 4 days the following, off every other weekend

The Laminator Operator reports directly to the department manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Set up & operate specific Laminating machine according to company laminating procedures and guidelines. Apply proper adhesive and wind rolls according to specs. Job Order interpretation. Responsible for quality and safety of set-up and safe operational procedures. Follow equipment and workplace cleaning/sanitation procedures, to complete Sanitation checklist Follow GMP's and PRPs and production SOPs Conduct and document all quality checks for intermediate product Follow CCP monitoring procedures Check first piece conformance to specifications. Enter data into Clear Lam ERP Shop Floor Interface Perform daily and periodic preventative maintenance duties specified for assigned machines/equipment. Maintain cleanliness of machines/equipment and adjacent work area to SQF standard. Utilize satellite containers for Hazardous Waste. "Hazard Waste Generator" - generates hazardous waste as part of production process. (Reference SOP-HW-201-09, and SOP HW-202-09) on file. Report quality issues to supervisor and/or Laminator Operator I for analysis and/or remedy. Communicate pertinent matters of the job with the laminator operator I & laminator operator II from the opposite shift at the beginning and end of the shift. Report ALL accidents to the shift manager immediately. Report ALL unsafe acts and conditions to the shift manager immediately. Follow equipment and workplace cleaning/sanitation procedures, to complete Sanitation Checklist Follow GMP's and PRP's and production SOP's Conduct and document all quality checks for intermediate product Inspect and sign all set up and master roll samples for defects prior to inspection by department lead. Report all Food Safety Violations to management. Other duties as assigned Regular, consistent attendance and punctuality are required and expected for job performance. We'd love to hear from you if:

You have at least 1 year of machine operator experience, laminator operator preferred but not required Have experience working with and measuring chemicals Are able to measure and read a ruler/tape measure Basic math skills are required Don't mind working in a dirty environment Have an excellent work history in the areas of attendance, safety, and quality
