Position Summary
A
Bellman , also known as a Bellhop, is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to hotel guests by assisting with luggage, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions, and ensuring a pleasant stay. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet Guests:
Welcome guests upon arrival and assist them with their luggage. Escort Guests:
Guide guests to their rooms and explain room features and hotel amenities. Provide Information:
Offer information about hotel services, local attractions, and dining options. Assist with Transportation:
Arrange transportation for guests, such as taxis or car rentals. Maintain Cleanliness:
Ensure the lobby and other public areas are clean and organized. Deliver Items:
Deliver messages, packages, and room service orders to guest rooms. Handle Requests:
Assist with special requests, such as arranging transportation or making restaurant reservations Qualification High school diploma or equivalent. Experience:
Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred. Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lift and carry heavy luggage, friendly and professional demeanor. Knowledge:
Familiarity with local area attractions and restaurants. Flexibility:
Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. Ability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
