Salary: $40,000 - $43,000Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Level 1 NOC Analyst to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about IT infrastructure, eager to grow their skills, and committed to delivering exceptional support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor network and system alerts using modern monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Datadog, PRTG)

Perform initial triage and troubleshooting of incidents related to network, server, and cloud infrastructure

Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 support teams with detailed documentation

Provide remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals

Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive

Perform basic Active Directory tasks (password resets, account unlocks, group membership changes)

Troubleshoot basic network issues (e.g., switch port connectivity, DHCP/DNS issues, VPN access)

Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, ConnectWise)

Assist with patch management, endpoint protection, and system updates

Participate in rotating on-call schedule, including occasional nights and weekends

Required Qualifications:

1–2 years of experience in a technical support, help desk, or NOC environment

Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and macOS environments

Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN

Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting

Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (e.g., monitors, printers, networking equipment)

A valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools

Exposure to virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox)

Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell) and automation tools

Experience supporting cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)

This position is based in our Hauppauge, Long Island office. A valid driver's license is required.
