Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in Code 300.2, the Execution Support Branch of the Operations Department of PSNS and IMF. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will evaluate the Quality Performance System (QPS) data, Deficiency reports, Discrepancy Logs, Audit Action records, Rework Reports, and other Inspection Verification Reports in support of process improvement programs. You will conduct program compliance surveillances. You will plan, schedule, and conduct studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations, and program effectiveness associated with Quality Analysis (QA) programs. You will prepare and issue a weekly, quarterly, and yearly assessment report for all established programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR GS 09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS 07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assessing and analyzing program performance studies to determine compliance with policies and procedures and recommend changes to ensure the efficiency and success of shipyard operations. FOR GS 07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS 05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting studies of program performance effectiveness to ensure the efficiency and success of shipyard operations.
