Overview

A well-established and growing manufacturing company is looking for a skilled Human Resources Manager to lead the full scope of HR operations at its Jefferson City location. This is a high-impact role supporting a nonunion plant with a mix of strategic planning and hands-on leadership. Youll be the go-to HR expert onsite while collaborating with a larger corporate HR team across multiple U.S. locations. The company will be experiencing rapid growth, with new product lines and investments in the business.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary HR business partner to plant leadership and employees, providing daily support and long-term planning
  • Oversee hourly hiring, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
  • Lead change management efforts and communicate policy updates, guidelines, and initiatives
  • Support plant safety initiatives in collaboration with operations leadership
  • Coordinate and conduct training, leadership development, and succession planning
  • Administer company policies fairly and consistently while maintaining a positive culture
  • Align HR strategy with business objectives and participate in strategic planning efforts
  • Represent the plant within the broader corporate HR team and contribute to multi-plant initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required
  • Minimum 5 years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, employee relations, and compliance
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems; experience with SAP/SuccessFactors and Kronos is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage change, lead initiatives, and influence across departments
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and capable of balancing strategic and tactical responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work fully onsite Monday through Friday in Jefferson City
