Overview
A well-established and growing manufacturing company is looking for a skilled Human Resources Manager to lead the full scope of HR operations at its Jefferson City location. This is a high-impact role supporting a nonunion plant with a mix of strategic planning and hands-on leadership. Youll be the go-to HR expert onsite while collaborating with a larger corporate HR team across multiple U.S. locations. The company will be experiencing rapid growth, with new product lines and investments in the business.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR business partner to plant leadership and employees, providing daily support and long-term planning
- Oversee hourly hiring, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
- Lead change management efforts and communicate policy updates, guidelines, and initiatives
- Support plant safety initiatives in collaboration with operations leadership
- Coordinate and conduct training, leadership development, and succession planning
- Administer company policies fairly and consistently while maintaining a positive culture
- Align HR strategy with business objectives and participate in strategic planning efforts
- Represent the plant within the broader corporate HR team and contribute to multi-plant initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required
- Minimum 5 years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employee relations, and compliance
- Proficiency in HRIS systems; experience with SAP/SuccessFactors and Kronos is a plus
- Proven ability to manage change, lead initiatives, and influence across departments
- Hands-on, adaptable, and capable of balancing strategic and tactical responsibilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work fully onsite Monday through Friday in Jefferson City
