ICU RN Job Details Location: Spokane, WA 99204 (Washington healthcare jobs) Facility: Short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center Unit: Neuro ICU, Multi-System Medical/Surgical ICU Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel ICU RN) Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 - End: 1/5/2026) Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930-$2070 Patient Ratios: 1:2 Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required Float Requirement: May float to adult critical care and telemetry units Charting System: Epic Scrub Color: Any color for RNs Parking: Free on-site parking ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Current WA or Compact RN license (required at time of submission) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (Neuro ICU experience preferred) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and a patient-centered approach Ability to float between ICU, critical care, and telemetry units as needed References: At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of ICU employment within the last 3 years ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to neuro/trauma and multi-system ICU patients (ages 17-102) Manage ventilated patients, intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring, and procedural sedation Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias Utilize advanced ICU equipment: Philips monitors, Alaris pumps, Prismaflex CRRT, Swan-Ganz and PA catheters Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: IV, PT, RT, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and more Float to other adult critical care and telemetry units as needed Participate in self-scheduling and maintain flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts Complete required orientation and annual training modules Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse in Spokane, WA, and make a difference in critical care nursing!
