Job Description:
We are seeking a Cost Project Control Specialist to support requirements gathering and business process analysis within the SBS National Accounts division . This role acts as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders , focusing on system development, enhancements, and alignment with business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, documentation tools, and process improvement .
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements workshops and interviews with business stakeholders.
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and improvements .
- Elicit, document, and validate requirements for system enhancements and updates.
- Create business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, and swimlane diagrams .
- Collaborate with IT teams on architecture, design, and system modeling .
- Track requirements to ensure proper coverage in solution designs.
- Partner with business leaders to develop roadmaps, ROI models, and business cases .
- Provide UAT support , validate releases, and review testing outputs.
- Maintain project documentation repositories and collaborate with project managers on scope and deliverables.
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or Project Manager (open to candidates with slightly fewer years if they have a strong record of delivering projects successfully).
- Experience with process documentation and workflow modeling (e.g., Swimlane diagrams, process maps, or business process modeling tools)
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies ; knowledge of BABOK practices or other recognized business analysis frameworks.
- Experience with requirements elicitation and documentation for technology, systems, or internal application projects.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools
- Business analysis certifications (such as CCBA or CBAP) preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with Salesforce or other enterprise CRM/ERP platforms.
- Basic skills in SQL, entity relationship diagrams, and data mapping for analysis and documentation.
Nice-to-Haves:
- CCBA or CBAP certification .
- Experience with Salesforce .
- Basic SQL, ERD, and data mapping knowledge.
- Writing samples of BRDs, user stories, and process diagrams .
