Position Overview

The Procurement Manager will lead the procurement team and oversee the sourcing and purchasing of products. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective cross-functional communication, and expertise in Asia-based sourcing, cost analysis, and logistics management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of procurement specialists, ensuring efficient workflow and timely execution of requests for quotation (RFQs).
  • Partner with the Sales Team to review and process RFQs submitted by customers and sales representatives.
  • Manage product development projects using project management software (Wrike preferred).
  • Coordinate with the Graphic Design team to prepare product mockups for customer approval.
  • Source products from Chinese factories and suppliers, ensuring quality standards, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery.
  • Review and analyze supplier quotations, including unit costs, packaging, and mold expenses.
  • Calculate and compare shipping costs to identify the most cost-effective method (e.g., DHL, FedEx IE, or ocean freight).
  • Apply Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes and tariff rates to finalize pricing.
  • Provide detailed and competitive pricing proposals to sales representatives and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international vendors and factories.
  • Support general office management activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management; manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and collaborating across departments.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with both suppliers and internal teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to analyze costs, tariffs, and shipping logistics.
  • Familiarity with Asia-based sourcing, particularly Chinese factories, and international logistics preferred.
