Handle front desk operations accurately and professionally, including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling all appointments, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel. Prepare necessary patient paperwork before appointments. Review EMA for information that needs to be updated and update patients information in EMA. Identify payer sources, verify insurance eligibility, and verify prior authorizations. Record and collect patient copays and/or balances at check-in/out. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical office/clinic. Prior dermatology or cosmetic experience is preferred. Knowledge of medical dermatology terms/CPT, ICD-10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate compassion when dealing with patients and coworkers. Ability to prioritize tasks, understand provider instructions, and know when to seek information or guidance. Experience using EMR systems is a plus. Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Benefits
