Office Manager Exceptional Dental of Uptown Uptown, New Orleans Job Summary We are looking to hire an upbeat, organized Dental Office Manager with the ability to build strong relationships with both patients and staff. This person will oversee the daily operations and long term growth of our dental practice in New Orleans, LA. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the dental office, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Oversee medical records management, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of patient information. Implement and maintain office systems to enhance efficiency and improve patient experience. Assist in budgeting and financial management to ensure the practice remains profitable. Train and supervise office staff, providing support, feedback and correction as necessary Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality care for patients. Skills Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical records management practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction. Ability to lead a team while fostering a positive work environment that prioritizes patient care. Experience and Education: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred Management or supervisory experience, preferably in healthcare Knowledge of dental terminology Knowledge of dental office procedures Knowledge of Dentrix or similar software often required Knowledge of MS Office Employee Benefits: Group health insurance Paid time off and holidays Free life insurance 401k Plan Monthly and yearly bonus potential Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Sitting 70% Standing/walking 30% Medical, office, and lab setting. Hearing Must be able to hear telephonic equipment and comfortably communicate with Patients and others by telephone and in person. Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) as required for business software, and operating office machines.
