ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Comply with all safety procedures including but not limited to wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Adhere to health, environmental, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other related guidelines in operation of duties and working within the facility. Responsible for initiating the requisitioning process for materials and oversees storeroom to establish, maintain, improve, and optimize MRO inventory. Maintains a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for ordering spare parts Interacts closely with the Maintenance Manager and maintenance team to remain up to date with current ordering and supply needs within the plant. Maintains critical parts and supplies necessary in the operation of the plant. Ensure proper levels of inventory are tracked and maintained. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments; enter receipts into the inventory management system. Issue parts to maintenance and production staff as requested, track usage and update records accordingly. Organize and label all parts to ensure accurate storage and easy retrieval. Monitor inventory levels; generate reorder requests or purchase requisitions as needed. Work with vendors and purchasing to ensure timely restocking of critical components. Assist in periodic cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts room and related storage areas. Ensure all parts and materials meet food safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. Source most competitive pricing possible on parts and supplies. Tracks and receives orders and distributes to various places in the plant as required. Updates and maintains records in the appropriate systems. This person will "own" the writing of POs for the C&W Facility All other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

:

Knowledge of plant manufacturing and operations. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with demonstrated skill in organization, planning, prioritization, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to develop realistic action plans to meet ever-changing demands or priorities. Self-starter with the ability to interact well with employees at all levels within the company as well as outside entities. Excellent verbal/written communication, analytical and negotiating skills. Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs while also helping lead others through change. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS. Travel to other locations as needed.

RELATIVE EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of related experience preferred.
