Overview
Project Manager (Water Treatment/Wastewater) Relocation to Detroit required. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Detroit, MI office and help lead water/wastewater projects for a general contractor with over 70 years of experience. Salary range: $115,000 - $145,000 per year. This role is hosted by Jobot. Responsibilities
Plans, directs, and coordinates construction activities for a wide variety of projects, primarily Water/Wastewater plants, plus other concrete, commercial, and industrial projects. Oversee one large project or several smaller projects, ensuring goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Manage Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen; provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the project team. Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate construction activities. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy. Coordinate work plans, assign duties and responsibilities, and determine staffing for each project phase. Direct and coordinate activities to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget. Review project proposals/plans to determine timeframes, funding, procedures, staffing, and resources for various phases. Monitor status reports and adjust schedules/plans as needed; prepare project reports for management and clients. Provide technical guidance to project personnel and resolve problems; represent the company in Owner progress meetings. Manage financial aspects of contracts and responsibility for project profit or loss. Lead project team in daily field coordination meetings, weekly block schedule meetings, and monthly safety kickoff meetings. Mentor and assist with career development of other team members. Experience as a Project Manager with Water Treatment/Wastewater experience required. Additional Details
