Were hiring for a
Power Systems Engineer
based in
Golden, CO . This position is open to both local candidates and those open to relocation. Youll be part of a small but growing team working on a variety of high-impact projects across the U.S. What You'll Be Doing Design and layout of low and medium voltage power systems
Create electrical drawings: one-line, three-line, schematics, wiring diagrams, conduit layouts
Perform engineering calculations using ETAP, SKM, or by hand
Conduct short circuit, coordination, and arc-flash studies
Specify and review equipment; develop relay settings (SEL, GE, Basler, etc.)
Collaborate with junior engineers or receive mentorship, depending on experience
What We're Looking For Must-Haves: BSEE or BSEET from an accredited university
Solid understanding of NEC, IEEE/ANSI standards, and power system fundamentals
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Clear written and verbal communication
Nice-to-Haves: PE license or on track for licensure
Experience with substation or renewable energy systems
Industrial project experience (water/wastewater, oil and gas, etc.)
MSEE with a power systems focus
Relay setting and system protection knowledge
