The Cx Provider/Project Manager will work internally and externally with other Project Team Members to successfully deliver fully commissioned projects to our clients. This opportunity is a 100% remote position and will require approximately 25-40% travel, locally and nationally, to commissioning sites. As a Project Manager, you will oversee and manage Commissioning Projects from pre-construction through project close-out. You will be accountable for all aspects of assigned projects and project success and may be responsible for multiple projects simultaneously. This is a full-time, salaried position reporting to the Mission Critical Cx Operations Manager. General Duties: Coordinate effectively with general contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and the owner verbally and in writing. Develop commissioning scope and fees for proposals. Review, understand, and communicate project plans, scopes, specifications, contract documents, regulations, safety measures, and schedules to Impact Cx staff and project team members. Collaborate with Cx Project Coordinator to create and maintain Project Plans for deliverables and resources. Work with Impact Cx Project Accountants to develop monthly invoices, manage accounts receivable and payable. Complete Cx Design reviews including OPR, BOD, plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings. Facilitate OPR Workshops if required. Perform periodic Site Observation Visits and prepare reports. Develop project-specific test scripts including Pre-Functional Checklists, Functional Performance Tests, and Integrated Systems Tests. Execute and witness onsite tests. Facilitate commissioning meetings and distribute minutes to stakeholders. Manage documentation and resolution of commissioning issues. Develop Commissioning Reports and Systems Manuals. Perform Warranty Walk Throughs, coordinate seasonal testing, and update reports/manuals.

Skills:

Highly organized with proven leadership skills and excellent client service. Strong understanding of engineering in the built environment. Excellent communication skills. Experience managing multiple projects from start to finish. Ability to respond thoughtfully to sensitive situations. Proficient analytical skills for quick, thoughtful solutions. Knowledge of local energy codes and LEED Cx requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or 10+ years of equivalent experience in MEP construction, commissioning, and project management. Professional Engineering License is a plus. Experience with Cx Alloy is a plus. Project Management Certification is preferred but not required. OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety certification is required. Knowledge of Building Automation Systems is a plus. Thorough knowledge of construction safety standards, including OSHA 30-hour certification. Ability to interpret project financial information. Field experience is required. NFPA 70E certification is required. Certification in Building Commissioning is a plus but not required.

Travel:

50-70% Salary & Benefits:

The expected base salary range is $90,000 - $145,000+ USD per year, depending on skills, experience, and location.
