Location: Main Campus Hospital, Stepdown Float Pool
Shift Details: We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Stepdown Nurse for our 3x12-hour rotating shifts:
* Day Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM
* Night Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM
Shifts typically consist of 2 weeks on Days, followed by 2 weeks on Nights, if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital.
Job Description: As a Cardiac Stepdown Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a safe environment.
Qualifications:
* MUST have 18 months of permanent experience in Cardiac Stepdown before travel. Travel experience will be considered.
* MUST have 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown experience.
* PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required.
* MUST possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
* Current BLS & ACLS certifications required.
* NIH certification required.
* Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
Additional Information: The successful candidate will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is mandatory, with two attempts available to pass; failure will result in cancellation.

* One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for.
* Active certifications with no pending items.
Background checks will be conducted, and any open cases or license hits will result in a rejected submission.
