Shift Details
* Type: 4x10-Hour Days
* Hours: 07:00 - 15:30
* Call Requirement: 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month (may include holidays)
* 2-hour minimum call back required
Job Requirements
* Experience: Minimum 2 years required. No first-time travelers unless they have at least 3 years of experience.
* Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Will accept RCIS, ARRT, or RTR certifications.
* Special Skills:
* Accurate monitoring
* Cardiac stent placement
* Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations (adult & pediatric/neonatal)
* Interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
* ECMO, hemodynamic monitoring, and more
* Preferred Experience: Trauma Level I experience is preferred.
Unit Details
* Daily Census: 15 patients
* Number of Rooms: 4
* Common Patient Diagnoses:
* Coronary artery disease
* Post cardiac arrest
* Heart failure
* Aortic stenosis, mitral regurgitation, and more
Special Procedures
* Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
* PERCUTANEOUS CORONARY INTERVENTION (PCI)
* Aortic valvuloplasty
* IABP and Impella placement
* Coronary thrombectomy
Important Notes
* Compliance documents are due 5 days prior to start.
* Travelers must complete labs within 72 hours of signing the contract.
* RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at the time of initial submission and cannot be changed once offered.
* Local candidates (within 50 miles) are not eligible.
