Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in Towson, Maryland. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, handling cases from inception through trial with a focus on personal injury matters. The role requires a proactive individual adept at managing deadlines, preparing legal documents, and collaborating with attorneys and clients. Responsibilities: Manage personal injury cases from initial intake through resolution, including settlement, mediation, or trial. Draft, review, and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and trial exhibits. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all correspondence, pleadings, and evidence are accurately documented. Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and experts to gather necessary information and documentation. Summarize medical records, bills, and other evidence to support case preparation and strategy. Prepare discovery materials, deposition outlines, and witness lists to assist attorneys. Coordinate depositions, medical examinations, court appearances, and mediations efficiently. Monitor case deadlines, court dates, and statutes of limitations to ensure timely filings. Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including creating trial notebooks and organizing exhibit binders. Conduct legal research as needed to support case development. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on personal injury cases. Strong understanding of state and federal court procedures and e-filing requirements. Proficiency in legal case management and document management software. Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; paralegal certification preferred. Familiarity with drafting legal documents, interrogatories, and summarizing medical records.
