Shipping and Receiving Specialist
to join our team in Manchester, NH. This is a tremendous opportunity for learning and development within the warehouse. The initial role is responsible for, but not limited to, packaging, storage, quality inspection, shipping, and receiving. Responsibilities: Accurate packaging and placement of preforms. Prepares and packs inventory for outgoing shipments. Pulls material for upcoming preform orders. Maintains all pertinent documentation as required. Inspection, packaging & labelling of preforms. Ensures that outgoing documents for shipments are complete and correct. Assists with the operation of the laser for product jobs to meet customer commitments. Assists with regular physical inventory. Ensures work areas are kept clean, well maintained, and in safe order. Identifies improvement opportunities and presents recommendations to management. Processes shipments through appropriate shipping carrier. Follows required procedures for shipping hazardous materials. Completes special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in a shipping, receiving, packaging, or inventory position. Experience using MS Excel is preferred. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Follows operating instructions. Ability and patience to sit for long periods packaging small parts. Ability to work independently. Hardworking; ability to perform as an effective, positive team member. Excellent history of attendance and on-time performance.
