Insight Global is looking for an RTE to join their team remotely.

This is the Customer focused team dealing with all IT systems that touch the customer. The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a leader and coach on the Agile Release Train (ART), a team of teams that plan, commit, develop, and deploy software together to deliver significant value to Eversource’s end customers. This leader/ coach possesses a strong understanding of Agile and can execute and manage Agile processes. The RTE will lead and guide multiple ARTs in accordance with SAFe principles, ensuring alignment across teams and optimizing the flow of value. S/he will operate as a servant leader and coach, fostering a culture of trust, transparency, and continuous improvement across the ART.

Essential Functions:

• Facilitate key ART-level events, including PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, ART Sync, and Scrum of Scrums

• Facilitates PI Planning

• Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices, reinforcing a growth mindset

• Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risks, and drive relentless improvement

• Maintains agile tools and dashboards to track progress towards PI objectives and flow of value

• Drives ART delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing ART retrospective, assessment, and metrics to identify areas of opportunity

• Creates a compelling vision, clear direction, and strategy for the team

• Assist in the management of risks, dependencies, and roadblocks

• Promotes DevOps principles inside the organization to aid in the design and continuous enhancement of a continuous delivery pipeline

• Encourage Organizational Change Management (OCM), communications and training as needed to drive process and tool adoption, implementation, and compliance

Skills and Requirements

3+ years experience as Release Train Engineer

5+ years with Lean Agile Methodologies

3+ years of experience leading Agile Release Trains (ARTs), including hands-on facilitation of PI Planning, ART Sync, Inspect & Adapt, and Scrum of Scrums.

Lean-Agile Coaching & Servant Leadership

Strong background in driving Organizational Change Management (OCM), including communications, training, and agile tool adoption to support process compliance and transformation Utility experience

Agile Certifications null
