The work schedule commitment for this position requires the following: Must be able to work night shiftMust be able to work three (3) twelve (12) hour shifts on a weekly basis Must be able to work every third(3rd) weekend Holiday commitment consists of 1 holiday per seasonResponsibilities Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Patient Care Tech IIs will provide direct bedside care to patients: Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the patient Maintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets Maintains advanced knowledge and experience with phlebotomy and lab specimen collection including T&S, Blood Cultures Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed Other tasks include respiratory services, and rehabilitation servicesQualifications To qualify as Patient Care Tech II, you must meet the following requirements for consideration: High School Diploma or equivalent required One of the following is required: PCT or related certification, Certified nursing assistant (CNA), EMT Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required.AHA BLS required Work ShiftWorkday Night (United States of America)Worker Sub TypeRegularPrimary Location Address2301 South Broad Street,, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of AmericaNationally ranked, Jefferson, which is principally located in the greater Philadelphia region, Lehigh Valley and Northeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey, is reimagining health care and higher education to create unparalleled value.
