Jefferson is also recognized as the 2nd Best Hospital in the Philadelphia Metro area and the 3rd Best Hospital in PennsylvaniaSchedule CommitmentSchedules are available 6 weeks in advance.Job DescriptionResponsibilities Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Patient Care Tech IIs will provide direct bedside care to patients:•Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the patient•Maintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets•Maintains advanced knowledge and experience with phlebotomy and lab specimen collection including T&S, Blood Cultures•Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed•Other tasks include respiratory services, and rehabilitation servicesQualificationsTo qualify as Patient Care Tech II, you must meet the following requirements for consideration:•High School Diploma or equivalent required•One of the following is required: PCT or related certification, Certified nursing assistant (CNA), EMT•Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required.
