Network And Computer Systems Administrator, Journeyman

ASE is looking for a Network and Computer Systems Administrator, Journeyman to work in support of Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, Florida. Responsibilities

Installs, configures, and maintains an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Performs system monitoring and verifies the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Reviews system and application logs and verifies completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Manages active directory (AD) for network, including creating users, enforcing GPO, and resolving issues for users. Installs and upgrades software and maintains software licenses. Maintains, installs, and configures various different platforms or services like Tenable (ACAS), DHCP, and DNS on Linux operating systems. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. Qualifications

Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. High School diploma/GED with additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in configuring and maintaining networks, system monitoring, reviewing logs, backups, and troubleshooting network performance, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and applying change management practices, and ensuring system performance and availability. Technical Experience: Windows Server, Windows 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9, Ansible Automation, Satellite Server configuration and maintenance. Certification: COMPTIA Network+ or similar industry certification. Clearance
