Responsibilities
Administers, develops, tests, implements, and maintains operating systems and related software. Establishes and enforces standards for computer operations to ensure compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications. Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking issues. Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and data recovery processes. Recommends hardware and software upgrades based on growth statistics and disk space forecasts. Provides technical support for system users. Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and refers more complex problems to higher-level staff. Qualifications
At least 5 years of related technical and managerial experience supporting an IT environment at the server/data center level. Experience includes backup and recovery, system patching, Tier II/III support, performance tuning, hardware upgrades, operational configurations, resource optimization, etc. Support for Microsoft and Linux operating systems. Expert knowledge of Microsoft enterprise management products. Ability to develop project management documentation. Ability to work independently and initiate projects. Serve as SME for IT projects. Associates degree or technical training certificate. Job ID
