Job DescriptionSelectek has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer in the Duluth, Ga area. Our client is an MEP firm that focusses on commercial style projects The Electrical Design Engineer will be capable of designing and documenting electrical systems for a variety of project types including medical facilities, office buildings, retail and multi- family projects. The individual should have experience handling multiple projects at a time from start to finish.Responsibilities: Electrical designs will include power distribution, lighting and lighting controls systems, and various low voltage systems. Candidate experience should include some familiarity with design of power and lighting for commercial projects. Preparing CAD/REVIT generated construction drawings and specifications. Performing submittal/shop drawing reviews and production Meeting/webinars with clients to coordinate designs. Meeting with vendors to specify appropriate equipment. Managing and delivering revisions Responding to RFI'sRequirements: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering 3 plus years of power and lighting design for commercial projects.
